David Cadena Loses Stanton City Council Seat

Stanton Councilmember David Cadena served the shortest term on the Stanton city council out of any council member since 1993. Council Member Cadena was a Stanton planning commissioner before being appointed in 2005.

Councilmember Cadena was never elected to Stanton city council, only appointed to the city council.

David Cadena's record in office has nothing signigicant to report except for two items: 1) He was ousted from mayorship by the other 4 Stanton council members in 2008 for no real valid reason? Really, no reason? 2) He had his polictical yard signs reportedly stolen when he was a candidate for city council. These two items combined with his political resume may have all added to his failed council run for Stanton city council in 2008.
