DeWayne Normand Democrat?
He claims to be a Republican endorsed candidate, yet he sent a mailer using Democratic Party logos and their voting guide to Democrats.

How can this candidate spend so much time getting the endorsement of the Republican Party then put out a mailer claiming to be part of the Democratic team? Notice the use of the Democratic logos too. If you want to see a much larger image of both sides of this mailer click here.

Something odd about the mailer is the suggestions on how to vote on the propositions on the backside. His mailer says to vote YES on most of the propositions exactly as the Democratic Party suggests. This mailer was sent to Democrats.

DeWayne Normand Republican?

Tent City In Our Parks

For many years, DeWayne Normand has watched our parks become unmaintained and unsafe for the families who pay taxes to use them.

Our Parks Commissioner DeWayne Normand allowed homeless to live and take over our parks making it undesirable for children and families to play in our parks.

Would you let your child play in a park that's become a homeless encampment?

Tent City In Our Parks

Look at this photo. Would you visit this park next to city hall?

Would you take your children to this park?

Now the picnic benches at this picnic area have been torn out making this area unusable.

Ask yourself, "Does Parks Commissioner DeWayne Normand deserve a promotion to councilmember"?

Park Ruined

Being a Parks Commissioner is a test: Can you manage our parks. And, if you can't manage our parks properly then how can you manage our entire city?

This park has become unusable, closed, and fenced for years.

Next To City Hall

Taxpayers fund the parks and DeWayne Normand let the “criminal element” take priority and now this park has a fence around it.

Living In Parks

Homeless takeover of parks and play areas happened on DeWayne Normand’s watch.

Next To City Hall

Residents dream of a day when children no longer have to play around homeless in the parks.

Ignoring the issue is not fair to Stanton families, children, or those in need of help.

Tax Money Wasted

Stanton families shouldn’t have to share parks with encampments. DeWayne Normand allows this... why?

This attitude of "Serving criminals first and taxpayers last" has got to stop.

Had Enough Yet?

Closed facilities and neglected parks? That’s Normand’s record.

Living In Bushes

For many, many years Stanton Park Commissioner DeWayne Normand has failed us. Homelessness has taken over our parks and children's play areas and the park commissioners do nothing about it. When will they begin to stand up for the children that want to play in a safe environment without fear or worry?

Living In Bushes

Kids deserve safe playgrounds, not tent cities. Normand failed them as Parks Commissioner.
